28th All India Essay Contest On Nuclear Science & Technology
The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) invites essays written in any official Indian language or in English. The essays with a maximum of 2,000 words should be submitted by a single author. Topics: Nuclear power in India – challenges and future direction; Societal benefits of non-power applications of nuclear science and technology and Laser light in the service of Indian nuclear energy.
Eligibility: Graduate students in any discipline from an Indian university.

Prizes and rewards: Cash prizes up to Rs. 21,000 for each topic.

47th All-India Student Design Competition
National Design and Research Foundation (NDRF) is inviting applications to provide students an opportunity to exhibit their individual engineering skills and innovative talents and earn recognition.
Eligibility: Final or pre-final year of BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS or equivalent courses.

Lok Sabha Internship Programme
To provide an opportunity to young talent for acquainting them with the working of parliamentary democracy. The internship will also train them to contribute towards generation of research inputs for members of the parliament. Two kinds of internship: three months and one-month in the Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Eligibility: For 3 months’ internship: Citizens between 21 and 30 years of age with two-year postgraduate degree in disciplines such as social sciences, environment, law, journalism, finance, management, languages, etc. For one-month student internship: between 18 and 30 years of age pursuing graduation/postgraduation.
