Users can now make voice and video calls using the Facebook Messenger App.
Facebook recently updated its WhatsApp version for Windows devices with video-calling ability. Now reports suggest the social media giant has integrated the same functions into its Messenger app for Windows 10 users.
According to a report published by VentureBeat, Windows 10 users can now make voice and video calls using Facebook’s Messenger app.
A Facebook spokesperson told the publication that the latest feature had started rolling out last week for select users. The feature will be going out live for others soon.
The Windows 10 experience will be similar to ones on Android and iOS wherein the phone icon on the top right corner of the screen will glow green when the other person is active. This allows users to remain notified and reach to others immediately.
Users will additionally be able to decide whether or not they want to use the camera and if they want to record their conversation. Group calling is also among the various options that will be available to users.
