iPad enthusiasts are always on the lookout for latest news about the release of a new model and alleged sources say that Apple is planning to launch three iPad models to add to the iPad lineup in 2017.
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the iPad may mostprobably have a conservative improvement on its hardware by 2017 as Apple is reportedly planning to launch three future models, which almost have similar designs with the previous models.
The anticipated 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 may come along with a 10.5-inch model and it may be priced more expensive than the low-cost model version of the 9.7-inch iPad.
It is also speculated that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 and 10.5-inch variant will be run by an A10X processor, utilizing 10nm process technology that will be solely supplied by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Mac Rumors reported.
Kuo further predicted the possibility of the Cupertino tech company positioning the 10.5-inch iPad Pro as an alternative choice to the 9.7-inch model.
In an article by Apple Insider, the current flagship model, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, is installed with the A9X, which implies that the next model will already be run by the A10X and launched in 2018.
Meanwhile, most fans are still checking out the alleged iPad Pro 2’s leaked specs, which were shown on Apple Insider.
An anonymous source who apparently works at an Apple supplier in China showed two images of the supposed upcoming device. It shows the tablet’s settings written in Chinese characters, though the publication noticed that the model number is different from what Apple usually use for their previous and current iPad models.
However, they did spot that the number system is similar to the traditional numbering method of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
