When logging into Windows using Microsoft accounts on your device, remove passwords to further increase the security of your computer. To enable Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in settings.
By adding some color to your text cursor, the text cursor indicator makes it easier to locate in a sea of text. Go to Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Text cursor to activate it and adjust its size and color.
You can directly add an event or reminder from the taskbar to your calendar. Choose the time and date on the taskbar, then type your information in the “Add an event or reminder” text box.
Snip & Sketch is the new name for screen sketch. To capture a screenshot of what’s on your screen or annotate and share an earlier snapshot, open Snip & Sketch. Type “snip & sketch” into the taskbar search box, then click “Snip & Sketch” to launch the application from the list of results.
To swiftly capture a screenshot, hit the Windows logo key along with Shift + S. Your screen will go black and your cursor will turn into a cross. Left-click the cursor at a position near the edge of the area you wish to copy. Point and click on the region you wish to capture. Your screen will display the captured region.
You can copy and paste the snippet of an image into an email or document by putting it on your clipboard. After taking your snip, a notification will occur. Click it to edit the image. Snip & Sketch comes with a pen, highlighter, and eraser with adjustable line widths, as well as sharing, copying, and saving options.
