Pueblo Police say a shooting suspect landed in the hospital after jumping from a third story apartment window.
Adrian Roybal, 36, was arrested on July 19, 2016 at the Casa Del Sol Apartments in the 1700 block of Constitution Road.
Police say Roybal was wanted in connection to a shooting that happened after a fight in the parking lot of Casa Del Sol at 3:30 p.m. on July 16. The victim, an unidentified 20-year-old man, was shot in the back. He has since been released from the hospital.
When police went back to Casa Del Sol on the 19th to continue their investigation, they say Roybal leaped from a third floor window. Roybal broke both of his ankles in his attempt to get away.
Roybal will be booked into the Pueblo County jail when he is released from the hospital. He faces a charge of first degree assault.
