One of the greatest ways to see the hottest Minecraft topics, exhibitions, and other cool Minecraft stuff is to attend this Fall’s MineCon 2016. Today, though, the Mojang team has announced some excellent news for those who are looking to attend the September 24-25 event in Anaheim, California.
Tickets for MineCon 2016 are going on sale on May 6 and May 7, and will be sold in two batches of 6,000 tickets each day in order to give people in different time zones a fair chance at attending the event. The tickets will be priced at 160 dollars each, and will be available for purchase from this website once the May 6 and May 7 dates are reached. It is worth noting, however, that there will be a 6 ticket limit per order, and that you will need to provide the name of each person you are buying a ticket for. The tickets are non-transferrable, and non-resellable, as the person whose name is on the ticket at the time of purchase will be the only person who will be admitted to the event.
At the event, there is promised to be costume contests, like-minded Minecraft community members, famous YouTubers, Mojang team members, and more. Those in attendance at the event will even receive a fancy cape.
