The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll released Monday shows Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton leading RepublicanDonald Trump by 3.07 percentage points.
The online poll shows Clinton with 49.46 percent to Trump’s 46.39 percent and 4.15 percent choosing “other.” In the poll, “others” are defined as respondents who decline to pick Clinton or Trump.
Clinton has been leading Trump since Oct. 6, with her largest margin of support — 6.59 percent — during that period occurring Oct. 15 in the wake of comments Trump made about being able to grab women because of his fame.
The UPI/CVoter poll follows the final presidential debate on Wednesday, which wasconsidered a victory for Clinton in several polls.
The UPI/CVoter online tracking poll surveys about 200 people each day, leading to a sample size of roughly 1,400 people during any seven-day span.
Because the poll is conducted online and individuals self-select to participate, a margin of error cannot be calculated. The poll has a credibility interval of 3 percentage points. This seven-day span includes data collected from Oct. 17 to Oct. 23, when 1,992 registered voters were surveyed. Of them, 1,414 identified themselves as likely voters.
