Akshay Kumar has played numerous roles in the past and is all set surprise us with his all new avatar in Rustom. The actor will be seen playing the role of Navy officer Rustom Pavri, who is Parsi. The film is set in 50s and the actor was required to shoot his wedding scene with actress Ileana D’Cruz who plays Akshay’s wife in the film. For this Akshay wanted to dress right and get the feel of the era.
As per reports, Akshay requested his personal assistant Zenobia Kohla to show him the wedding album of her parents. Zenobia also helped Akshay understand the Parsi way of life. After all the effort, Akshay and Ileana’s wedding scene in Rustom was then shot for in authentic Parsi way. In fact, it is hard to differentiate between Akshay’s image and that of Zenobia’s parents.
Akshay sports a clean-shaven look and is dressed like Zenobia’s father Naval Kohla and Ileana was seen in a beautiful wedding attire like Zenobia’s mother Perin Kohla. Well, this research is a true trait of a perfect actor.
